3 steps before choosing a size

Use your current belt length and preferred tied fit—not body size alone—as your reference.

  1. Lay your current belt flat

Straighten the belt and measure its full length from end to end.

  2. Compare the same model

Finished length varies by model, even at the same labeled size. Compare against the model you want.

  3. Check the knot and tail length

Tie the belt as usual and use your preferred knot tension and balanced tail length as the final reference.

Check the balance after tying

Tail length varies with your knot and gi. Cotton can shrink slightly, so avoid high-temperature washing and drying.
